Another One: Transfer Chances

I’m a graduate from George Mason’s class of 2006 with a B.A. in Art and Visual Technology, concentrating in Photography. I’m transferring as an undergrad seeking a second degree, a B.S. in Ecology and Evolution.

I actually don’t remember my exact high school GPA or my SAT, as it’s been 7 years since I graduated. I know I graduated with honors, though. Estimates below.

Estimated HS GPA: >3.2
Estimated SAT (pre-2005 system): 1210 (Math was the higher value.)

College GPA: 3.25
Credits: 120
Involved in: Working at an environmental conservation NPO for 7 years.

Thoughts?

Thanks for the split.

I would say that you would be in.

Got in! For those keeping track, it took exactly one week from application completion.

^Congratulations.
IIRC from the “Why app still not complete?” thread, your online admissions status changed to “complete” about a day or two before my daughter’s online status did, so I’m hoping that this is a sign that she’ll be receiving her admissions decision within the next few days.

^thanks!

Good luck to your D!

I never heard of that major at Pitt. Is it in the biology department?

^ yup, biological sciences.

[Ecology and Evolution Major](http://www.pitt.edu/~biohome/Dept/Frame/eemajor.htm)

Looks like a great program. Thanks for pointing it out, and best of luck!

You’re very welcome, and thanks! Yeah, classes at Pymatuning Laboratory look pretty neat.
