A week and a half ago, a student at S’s school, a junior, finished taking his SAT’s, hitched a ride back to town with a friend’s family and was dropped off across the street from a town park where he was going to meet other boys to play frisbee. He was hit by a car while crossing the street. The boy has not yet regained consciousness. The driver of the car was a fellow student, a senior. It appears to be just a tragic, tragic accident. The whole town is heartsick.

How things can change, in the blink of an eye. Send positive thoughts, for both boys.

I’m sorry for you and your son and especially both boys’ parents. Our small town suffered a horrible loss this past winter when 3 recent hs grads were all killed in a crash. The disturbing circumstances surrounding the crash made it impossible for the community to comprehend…just heartbreaking on so many levels. The parents will never be the same. Let’s pray the injured boy has the strength to return to his loving parents. Hugs and prayers to you and all involved.
