Another Review Book Suggestion Thread

Could I have suggestions for the following?

Chemistry
Macro
Micro

I also plan to self-study:

US Gov
Comp Gov
English Lit
Psych
Comp Sci AB

Does anyone have suggestions for review books and perhaps textbooks for those, along with any tips, etc. for self-studying? I’ve heard that Ethel Wood’s review is good for comp gov, and I already have Barron’s Comp Sci which I used to study for CS A. Any help is greatly appreciated.

my chem teacher told us to get PR and thats what others told me in my thread

That seems to be the consensus for chem. Thanks.

Bump and such.

Another bump. Anyone? I’m mostly worried about gov and English lit.

Barron’s for psych.

you dont need a book for eng lit

second @ barron’s for psych.

Chem - PR; just do problems, and you’ll do fine on the test

US Gov - PR; if you have a good teacher or just want to cram, PR is short on important Supreme Court cases though, but you can always find them elsewhere. Barrons; if you want a textbook, hard mult. choice questions to do, or your teacher sucks, don’t do the essays in Barrons, they are way too hard

Comp Gov - Ethel Wood’s; pretty concise, people say if you’ve read it twice you’re pretty much guaranteed a 4 or 5

English Lit - not sure, but I got Cliffs, its got 6 practice tests in it, and the author was an AP test writer

Comp Sci AB - Barrons seems to be the general consensus here

Thanks a lot guys.
