Hi guys!

I had a fantastic overnight prorgam stay for two days. I’m wondering how best to convey my individual experience while I was there.

Keep in mind that I did the ONP before I had “looked” at the application or really fallen in love with MIT.

My first action, before meeting up with my host, was hot chocolate in a cafe. In walked a group of students muttering things about p-sets. All I knew about p-sets was from the 10 seconds our regional information speaker talked about them, so I was kind of intrigued by that.

After meeting up with my host at Simmons, I was greeted by a MASSIVE wooden block/plank tower. When I had some free time after the tour he gave me (saw the lounges, the LEDs the residents put in, and the ballpit-picture taken!) I immediately went downstairs and decided I needed a picture with the tower to show people just how massive it was. I’m estimating over 9 feet because of the picture I have with my arm raised. Getting the picture was difficult because the floor was deserted so I had to prop up my cellphone and use the timer function, hoping that I would be in the frame.

I even learned what IHTFP stands for after probably looking like an idiot trying to figure it out alone in the Coop :-p

Basically, I took all of these pictures of things I thought were awesome. I didn’t know there was supplemental material inclusion or the optional essay, but I think that these uniquely personal experiences will help to set me apart.

Should I include any of my pictures? Or just write about them? I’m in most of them.
