It’s time for my every 2 years of negotiating a better rate. I hate this process. I finally got through to customer service who talks too fast (I believe on purpose), keeps repeating my name (I’m sure they have to) and was humming and singing while looking for promotion plans.
The fast talk was really annoying. He said they do a simple and easy plan now and if I would tell him the channels I watched. So I turned the fast talk on him (I mean talking really fast), about DH, sons, channels they like, not knowing which they don’t, how I like these channels and not these anymore (yadda, yadda, yadda). I‘ve been watching Mrs. Maisel, so tried to channel her. He sort of stopped it, not expecting that back.
Anyway, I was able to find the servicing and pricing list from 12/18/19 in my area (so the new list should be coming out shortly).
From what I can see, this new plan is really only valuable to those who want limited viewing. They still separate the channels enough that you have to buy several packages to get what you need.
Anybody have luck with this new Simple and Easy? Last time I found I was able to cut a better deal when I knew exactly what I was talking about and made them slow down and itemize from the same pricing list I had. Then had them go and talk to a supervisor. It takes awhile, but I have the time.
