Anthony Weiner

*I am always reminded of the story about the little cousins who bathed together: one boy and one girl. When they got out of the bath, the little girl commented to her mother: “Thank goodness it isn’t on his face!” That’s it, guys. Most of us don’t care to look. *

LOLOLOLOLOL…out of the mouths of babes…

Agree with the Daily Show must-see comments. The Bill Clinton comments were just hysterical.

I thought that Weiner called Bill Clinton to ask him to ask Hillary to tell his wife what he had done. I would love to hear the conversation between those two women as they travel together in the Middle East.

I’d love to hear Bill telling Hillary what Weiner said. Which side had his sympathy??

And I have to think that Bill does not like his name being dragged into this because all it does is remind us of his own past idiocy.

“Absolutely makes it worse from his wife’s view…”

I don’t know…I’d rather find out that my husband was having a consensual sext affair than that he was harassing/flashing random victims. It’s bad enough that he would hurt me; if he would hurt me AND innocent third parties, that’s worse to me.

In addition to late night TV Spirit Air is taking a few swipes:

The Weiner Sale Expansion - Bigger and Better
Don’t lie… Size does matter! But don’t worry, we’re not enlarging our fares. We’re expanding our Weiner Sale!

^^^BTW this was a pubic service announcement.

qdogpa, the glaring flaw in your position is that you’re taking the published transcripts of Weiner’s conversations with one of these women, the Las Vegas blackjack dealer, and extrapolating from that into a completely unfounded assumption that none of these women were harassed, and all were willing participants. In fact, you (and others who seem to agree with you) have no idea whatsoever if this was actually the case. Neither do I, but I was just asking a question, whereas you were making a blanket assertion based on the evidence of his conversations with one woman. Just in case you deny having done so, here’s what you said:

(Emphasis added.)

DonnaL- It’s all speculation, really. You look at every single thing on earth through a
victim’s lens. Very tiresome.

Not nearly as tiresome as having to deal with knee-jerk apologism. And thanks for the ludicrously asinine, personalized generalization.

Do you really think it’s wise for you to insult me in that way, or that you’ll come out looking good if you decide to go that route? Let me know.

And that’s wholly apart from the fact that your comment doesn’t make sense on even a rudimentary level as a response to what I’d just said. Try reading what I actually say next time. Whether you like it or not, there’s a huge difference between asking a question about an issue and deciding without evidence that you know the answer.

But if you enjoy siding with the Anthony Weiners of the world rather than people like his wife, please go right ahead.

You are very welcome.

I am not SIDING with anyone. I am not condoning what he did. It’s disgusting. I just get tired of posters who feel that their backgrounds give them the responsibility to deposit the huge chips on their shoulders into every thread.

Cliff Notes??

Who is siding with weiner? Haven’t seen anyone here…i am noting of the texts published from various women, each participated in x rated exchanges…i am not saying someone said no to him, but there is NO example or proof of this on record ,yet…sheez,READ what is posted, and don’t extrapolate

Thanks for that insult too, MOWC. Do you have any more that you’ve been saving up?

Don’t ask me. I doubt that I’ve ever exchanged a single word with MOWC before, in all the time I’ve been here. But apparently she’s been carefully keeping score all this time in order to form her silly conclusion about me.

Another example of Weiner’s women,as i stated before, it takes 2 to tango, but he still is a dirtbag

Creepy congressman Anthony Weiner got a virtual come-on from a Georgia peach before his sext scandal exploded.

The 34-year-old blonde Tweeted several salacious messages to the disgraced Democrat in which she expressed her desire to see what Weiner was packing in his boxers.

“So thankful for your balls Weiner!,” Traci Nobles wrote. “Way to stand your ground sexy! Keep it Up like I know you can!! Heart you, heart your passion, and as always, heart your balls!”

It’s not clear if the Athens, Ga., woman was another one of Weiner’s Internet ingenues - or just a rabid follower.

It appears that the woman kept close tabs of Weiner’s social media accounts and would weigh in whenever he changed his photo.

“Could eat ya with a spoon!” she wrote in one approving message.

“Will you be nude?” she asked in another.

There doesn’t appear to be any evidence that Weiner responder to her come-ons and she seems to have given up trying in April.

She did not return several emails for comment.

Hey ya’ll. Let’s keep the discussion to Anthony Weiner and away from personal attacks about how “we” write.

Did you see the latest article on the cover of NYTimes? “In Reckless Fashion, Rapid Online Pursuits of Political Admirers” all about how it didn’t take much time for Weiner to turn from “friends” to something more sinister. Before long, he got more and more aggressive with no regard for “consequences”.

How are personal attacks on Weiner different? Is it a discussion or gossip?

Maybe he thought the Georgia Peach was his wife testing him…

My guess is that he only sexted with women with whom he made the first moves(s)…

Looking at the texts from radaronline, between Weiner and the Las Vegas woman, makes me think this scandal is overblown. We don’t know what he texted to other women, but the exchanges between Weiner and the Las Vegas woman were obviously completely consensual. He cheated on his wife online, exchanging steamy conversation and pictures with this woman, but I don’t see a hint of harassment.

Assuming that the exchanges with the other women were similar (we don’t know that, but we do see what might be his MO) this is just garden variety cheating, but online. Congressman cheats on wife, film at 11. Meh.

I don’t see any harassment, just slime.
