Anthony Weiner

Those Jon Stewart clips are hilarious…there is one from Thursday too, also funny. The Colbert one is also LOL!

My daughter performs in a political sketch comedy troupe and I look forward to seeing their incorporation of this story.

I think we should respect the privacy of his, well, uh, private parts.

Twitter has ushered in a golden age for political satirists.

Silly guys…

[Silly men: Women turned on by photos of underwear — folded neatly | Seattle Times Newspaper](http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politics/2015219218_weineressay03.html)

:)

^^That appears to be the same article was was posted in post #13.

The Daily Show bits are great. And if you check out the June 1 one, stay tuned for his riff on Trump and Palin eating pizza in Manhattan. Hilarious.

That bit on Trump and Palin was great…

Somebody needs to update the 'Who’s on first?" routine, and start with the line “Who’s in that photo?”

News Alert
from The Wall Street Journal

New York Rep. Anthony Weiner admitted sending lewd pictures of himself to women he met on Facebook and Twitter. The Democratic congressman apologized for his actions but said he would not resign from office.

I give up…seriously…

And he is 46 years old and married? Sending this stuff to young women he has never met? Any lying about it while he prepares to run for mayor of New York City?

He needs to just resign because no one will ever trust his incredibly poor judgement again.

I watched a bit of the news conference. I’d never heard of the guy before this, but he came across as pretty decent, forthright – and a typical, arrogant politician who makes stupid decisions because they think they’re above it all. If we got rid of all of them who’d be left to serve?

^^ the question is, Is there anybody in politics that isn’t wacko or do I just live under a rock???

Huge rising star in NY politics, YDS…what an idiot…

One in a long line of idiot politicians whose first instinct is to lie when caught doing something they shouldn’t be. What the heck is wrong with these men? And, yes, that is a rhetorical question.

You could tell he was lying about something in those news interviews. Though I thought it was that he knew it was a picture of him, given to the hacker by a vindictive ex girlfriend. He was pretty smooth about most of it. My God, what a liar. He would have been better off just saying it was hacked, he was following up with the police, instead of giving elaborate lies.

Politicians are scum.

Not only is Weiner married (to a highly accomplished beauty), he’s a newlywed, and admitted he made some of these contacts post-wedding. I think this is a sickness and he should resign and get treatment. (I must say it’s particularly galling to see a lowlife like Andrew Breitbart get something right.)

^^maybe he can get a package deal with some of the other sleezebags as of late…group therapy

Interesting that he says he will not resign…when is his term (political career) up?

I don’t know why this doesn’t bother me more. I guess I’m just beat down. The Arnold escapade was the height of sleaziness. It’s all second-rate for me compared to that, I guess.

It’s not that it “bothers me more”…it just never fails to amaze me…

For some reason, the Arnold business is part and parcal of being a celebrity prior to politics; the whole way he was introduced to the American public back in the 70’s defined his persona and attitude…

This is different; here is this “schmendrick” (yiddish; I"m sure context can help you) whose claim to fame is Representative in NYC…and yelling at everyone on the House floor…again, I repeat, what an idiot…

I guess some people literally can’t look past the nose on their face :)

This guy should resign.

One of the photos is, according to the blogger, too X-rated to be posted online. Now, if you send X-rated photos, unsolicited, to women whose age you don’t know, you are not only a pervert, you may be a criminal. I mean, what is the difference between sending a photo of an erect ***** to someone and opening your overcoat to some woman on the street?

If you don’t have the sense God gave geese to not send photos of your erect ***** to strangers over Twitter, do you really have the sense to vote on laws that affect the country?
And they wonder why no one respects Congress or the laws they pass anymore.
