Hi, I know there is an exam to place out of Math 21 but I am wondering if there is an exam to place out of Math 22. I have AP credit which covers 21 so I would only need to take an exam for 22. If there is could anyone give me insight on what is covered in that exam? I would assume general Calculus II topics such as series, integration techniques, etc. However it would be nice if someone could tell me specifics. Thank you.

Hi rfav32,
I am a parent of a Lehigh engineer student. When I attended the engineering talks in the summer I remember them encouraging the engineering students not to skip out of Lehigh’s calculus classes for engineering. Even if you pass out you should not assume any high school calculus class is going to teach you exactly what Lehigh expects you to know for all the advanced engineering courses you will be taking later. These are some of the most important classes of your career at Lehigh if you are interested in engineering. Do not skip them!

Also, I really recommend you taking the time to go visit your professors during office hours. They enjoy having students take the time to meet with them.

Good Luck!
