Any Avid reader out there that sucks at CR?

I was just curious. Is there any avid reader here in CC that sucks at CR?

I’m an Unavid reader with a stellar CR

An “avid reader” isn’t necessarily a “critical reader”. I used to be an avid reader. I could stay in my room reading from dawn to dark without stopping to eat anything (no, I’m dead serious). Yet, I couldn’t find my own perspectives on anything I’d read, partly due to immaturity at the time. Also, some might say that a “good reader” should definitely be a “good writer”. I used to hold that view as well, when trying to improving my writing skill through reading “avidly”. Evidently, it didn’t work out for me at all. The essay section on the SAT is really freaking me out due to the rigorous time limit.

yeah iam a huge avid reader, i read the economist and time daily, and read several novels. when i was in middle school it was a goal of mine to read a book a day. Iam cr score was pretty low avg about 520 on kaplan practice tests, but i think i have improved a lot by doing barrons cr workbook.
