<p>I’m a graduate CS student and got an summer intern in Microsoft. One issue is … the team and discipline for my intern is not my first choice. So, is it possible for me to re-interview with the team I like after summer intern? Anybody knows? I don’t have much passion for my current team. Thanks.</p>
<p>You mean you want to work with a different team/discipline within Microsoft? It would be up the Microsoft, but I don’t see why you couldn’t at least ask. But I’d wait until the end of the internship so you don’t look like a belly-acher. In the mean time give it your full enthusiasm and effort. Interns usually don’t work in their first choice department anyway, they’re often given the tedious grunt work.</p>
