Any cats from New York (State) wanna comment on my situation?

<p>I’m only asking because I’m not sure how to convert these to letter grades and I think most schools in NY grade using percentages.</p>

<p>Basically, my average dropped from like a 93 (second quarter) to an 86 (third quarter.)</p>

<p>How bad is that? I’m trying to buckle down this last quarter – will I get a “what the heck?” letter / be put on academic probation / <em>gasp</em> have my admission rescinded?</p>

<p>That happened to me as well, as the number of classes I have has dropped. MMy average was like a 92 and then it went down to an 85. It doesn’t really matter to me. I’m still graduating valedictorian and the girl who went to my schoo last year who goes to Cornell now, her averages continued to drop, but she didn’t fail any classes and she is at Cornell right now!</p>
