Stats:
SAT: 1480 - retaking in March, trying to get 1500+
unweighted GPA: After this year the cumulative should fall somewhere between 3.75 and 3.8
Weighted GPA: 4.5
Class rank: Top 10% of class unweighted, top 5% weighted
Unique ec’s that I am passionate about
No hooks (except for legacy at Georgetown)
Some issues:
I will only have 3 years of Spanish
Grades took a sharp dip in sophomore year, brought back up Junior year
Stats seem a bit below the threshold for these places
Some good things:
Upward trend in course-load
Out of the 4.5 B’s I got total, 2 were in elective classes.
I am in a dual enrollment program with a prestigious public university, and I am the only student in my grade to be a part of it (everybody else left or failed out).
I know stats aren’t everything, but I was wondering if they’re high enough to at least get me past the threshold of consideration?
