Just of note: I am taking part in a virtual stock exchange game with 100s of students around Hong Kong and am currently in the top 3. Even if I come in the top 20 I will win a award for representing my school, and if I come in the top 5 I will win an individual award. Furthermore, I will be doing a similar kind of competition, but in school only, and will most probably win that. How will these affect my chances?

I think you can get in with all that stuff.

But, note that UC Berkeley accepts like 90% California residents, so international students have a harder time.

Berkeley accepts about 15% of international applicants. with that being said i still think you have a great shot. i put it as 75% chance of being accepted. it all depends on how you present yourself in your essay. because the essay can make or break you. I say this because of what happened at my school this year

This year there were 2 big suprises at my school:

 1. Co-valedictorian being rejected from Berkeley with a 4.0 UW, 4.5W, and 32 ACT(equal to about a 2130-2160 SAT)
 2. A guy being accepted to Berkeley with a 3.6UW, 4.1W, 1760 SAT

like i said essays matter to school that use the holistic approach like Berkeley does.

I forget where it was said (I think it was DailyCal), but the Chancellor said they were going to raise the proportion of accepted international students this year. Chances are your application profile has a good chance at Berkeley, assuming they continue with the same policy next year.
