Any chance for me to get into Wheeler, Lincoln, or PCD in RI?

I am applying to Wheeler School, Lincoln School for Girls, and Providence Country Day in Rhode Island for 8th grade in the academic year of 13-14. I am coming from a public school which is not at its best academic standing at the moment so I am sure that I am not up to par to the other private school kids. On the upside, I am active in sports. I get straight As in my classes and have ALWAYS been on the Suma Cum Laude honor roll. Recently, I had taken the SSAT on January 5th. I'm wondering if they are good enough for me to get in and get a scholarship? I was disappointed in my scores when I first had seen them.

Score Personal Range Percentile

Verbal 662 644 - 680 65

Math 617 602 - 632 34

Reading 653 635 - 671 60

Total - 1,932 - 53rd percentile

Also, what can I do in the future to get better results for the SSAT? What do schools generally look for in applicants? Does the SSAT make a big difference in my acceptance into the school or does it only affect if I get a scholarship?

Please be as honest as possible. Even brutally honest is better than lying to make me feel better.

Thank you!

Those schools don’t have as many spots for 8th grade and open more for 9th, but your stats are pretty good.
good luck!

I wish you the best! Good Luck!
