–great recs
please tell me if i have a chance i think that i am doomed due to a 3.65 gpa
also if it helps my dad is a law professor at a university and a judge

As always, just apply. You aren’t doomed by your GPA, but on the other hand, it won’t help a lot. As long as everything else is in good shape, you have a decent chance. But don’t try to highlight teaching yourself calculus, spend the essay/interview/other time highlighting other stuff. Calculus is really not very impressive, especially in the eyes of the admissions officers. Most competitive students can learn good amount of stuff on their own (not necessarily math). A lot of people have already taken MV calc and beyond.

You’re not doomed. A 3.65 will be taken into context;that is, they’ll understand that if you go to a very tough school and have taken consistently very tough courses you’re more likely NOT to have a perfect GPA than, say, someone who goes to an easier school.

what if i changed high schools in 11th grade to an easier one, the high school that I went to for 9th and 10th grade was a top public school, but then I changed to a much easier one.
due to that my junior year courses don’t look that good:
AP US History
Physics Hon.
English 3 Hon.
Algebra 2 Hon.
Drafting 1
Psychology 1
Dual Enrollment Business Math
and 3 summer courses one at a local university and two at Yale
