Any chance to transfer into Uchicago/Cornell/Duke economics?

Hi, im a second year Accounting student who is looking to transfer into the economics program at Uchicago/Cornell/Duke due to certain reasons. I will highly appreciate if you could take a minute to comment on whether if I have any chances of getting accepted. I have posted my stats below. Thank you.

Current University: University of Toronto
Current Major: Double major in accounting and economics

cGPA Breakdown. Year 1 cgpa: 3.80 year 2 cgpa: 4.0. Although I got a cgpa of 3.80 in Year 1, my first semester cgpa was 3.35. Do you think this would affect my admission chances?

bump.

Your HS scores won’t matter after two years in college. But your chances to transfer to the listed schools are slim. All of them has about one per cent acceptance rate. Good luck.

Cornell’s is higher, though for econ, the odds are still low.

Cornell transfer rate is by department. Besides, they accept articulated CC transfers. If you take out those, the true unhooked transfer rate is about the same as any listed schools.
