7 ap or college prep courses

Of course you have a chance. Top 7% is just around the avg for schools like MCS (6%) and you have a shot at the more competitive schools too (Tepper, SCS, etc).

Make sure to mark the box of the schools you want and to increase your chances, apply Early Decision.

Hey Jandyx1, what are you planning to major in? Different schools here vary in terms of selectivity here, but I think you have at least a decent chance at any of them. Does the 7 APs refer to how many you have already taken or will have taken by the end of senior year? If you’ve already taken 7 APs before senior year, that will look very impressive (provided of course that you did well on the exams).

i want to study in business field
I will have 7 by end of my senior year
but not all the courses are “AP”
some of them are named “AICE” which is weighted just the same as AP and college level course.
thx.

Ok, well, my best advice would be get good teacher recommendations and write good essays presenting yourself as unique in some way. Your chances are fairly good but I wouldn’t classify you as a lock so if you can do those things it would really help in my opinion.

Best of luck in the college process and feel free to ask any more questions or concerns you might have.
