Are there anyone who got into like six or seven Ivies (or almost all of the schools in the top ten)? Im just curious thats all.

My friend will. He’s just waiting for his Princeton acceptance letter. He didn’t apply to all the ivies, though I’m sure if he did, he would be accepted at all of them.

Who is Connie Leung?

http://www.tdy-perdiem.com/rsi/college.htm

is she famous? NO. she doesn’t matter

She’s from RSI. She went out with Grandmaster Chu, too lol.

zogoto were you accepted?

my friend got in Yale EA and then only applied to Harv, Columbia, & Stanford. He got into Harvard & Columbia today; Stanford is tomorrow.

I was waitlisted :(

What were the stats of Connie Leung and what made her stand so flamboyantly apart from the average applicant?

Must be difficult to know she’s a household name, now… Freaky.
I got into Harvard and Yale (unbelievable!)

So far I have got into Yale, MIT, Wharton, Columbia, Duke, Northwestern, Hopkins, and a few more…Unfortunately got waitlisted from Harvard…Waiting for Princeton and Stanford Today.

Hehe, Connie Leung. I got into HYP, Columbia, and University of Chicago. I honestly don’t know why she applied to so many ivies…way too expensive and time consuming, if you ask me.

I don’t see what the fascination with getting into all the ivies is. If you can get into one, your probably good enough for all of them.

Sharkbite, that’s not necessarily true. It’s easier to get into, say, Cornell than it is to get into Harvard.

Ok, what I meant to say was “If you are good enough for HYPMS, you’re good enough for every other college out there.”

That is inclusive. If you are good enough for Yale, you’re good enough for Harvard. It’s just luck that you were rejected. Don’t sweat it.

(Oh and by “you”, I don’t mean anyone in particular)

haha connie leung went to my school, favorite of the research director.

i believe she went to cornell though…our newspaper mentioned it

wow…it’s like, i know a celebrity…cool :)

There’s no reason to even apply to all the ivies, though. They’ve all got their distinctive characters, and the only reason one would apply to all of them to simply to “see” if one can get in, not because all of them happen to be good fits.

GirlCalais, I thought she went to Harvard…

i dunno, the newspaper was published two yrs. ago, but i remember reading it and noting she went to cornell…ah well, both are excellent schools.
