any experience with parliament tutors?

I have used Princeton Review before but have never had any experience with Parliament tutors. Wanted to get feedback on experience with them. They definitely seem less professional on the phone but are so much less $ that I am tempted.

Hi, I have just finished using Parliament for my older son who is at Tufts and they were great helping him with econometrics. One would think there would be capable tutors at Tufts, but there aren’t. I stumbled upon Parliament because I have another son who is a junior at PEA and was searching for a SAT Subject Test tutor and then an actual SAT tutor. They are amazing and work great with the kids. I highly recommend them. They will go to your child’s school library if they are at a boarding school or meet where it is convenient. If you are not happy they will provide another tutor at no charge. It is a win/win in my book. The best part is they are people who have communication skills not just book smarts and testing knowledge. If you have questions, we used Robert at Parliament, give him a call.

Hi Susan,
I know that I just replied to your post in regard to Parliament Tutors. I forgot to respond in my reply in regard to you mentioning them being less professional. I have a son in college so I have researched all of the different tutoring companies/programs. One of the best things I found about Parliament is that they actually have personalities to go along with their tutoring skills. Most of the tutoring programs, including Princeton in our experience was just that they are really professional on the phone and have great pre-written sales pitches that sound too good to be true, because they are. If you want “real” people who sincerely care about getting your child’s grades to their highest potential then Parliament is the place. These are not old people that are just regurgitating old SAT tests and throwing flash cards at your kid. They are going to make your student successful because that makes them successful!!!
