Any Fellow Texans?

I live in Dallas and am anxiously awaiting the mail every day!
I applied for PR at Annenberg. I feel like I’m kind of borderline… top 20% of class, 32 ACT, 3.9 UW GPA with 4 AP classes by graduation.
Let me know when the mail starts arriving here!
By the way, my status is “being reviewed.”

My daughter is from Texas. I am impatient - she is laid back about all of this. She has similar stats 35ACT, 3.87 4 APs (more honors) probably top 20% - non ranking school and is in the terrible midyear grades pile! She was cap’d at UT and WL at WUSTL - so I am anxious! Good Luck!!

nothing here in the sugar land (houston) area either …yet =]

I got mine yesterday and I’m from Dallas  my stats are around the same. I’m in the top two percent of my class when I graduate I’ll have 10 ap classes done and a 3.97 gpa

So I’m sure that they are seninding them your way soon. However a good frien of mine lives right by me and he applied to the film school and has yet to receive his letter

congrats, shaaawtie!

twgangsta, I’m in the same boat as you, hopefully the letters will hit sugarland/houston soon. I’m anxiously awaiting good news everyday!

I’m from the DFW area and I got my packet yesterday. Applied as a bio major in College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences with pre-med emphasis. Stats are alright: 4.0 gpa unweighted; 1950/1990 SAT; above average ECs; 3 5’s on AP tests and 1 3 blah blah blah… Now I’m waiting for the financial aid stuff. @@

I’m from Houston! 31 ACT, top 5%, 12 AP classes
but nothing here ):

I’m from Sugar Land/Houston and I got in January 26th. My other friend here just got his acceptance yesterday.
