Does anyone know of any free shipping code without minimum purchase for Kohl’s for the next few days? I have to use some Kohl’s cash which will not count towards the $50 minimum purchase for free shipping.
I probably have to end up going to the store.

I looked on retail me not and don’t see any free shipping codes for under $100. Since there is free shipping with $50, that looks like no free shipping for under that I could find
@Hopeful820 You could probably order something that don’t need for free shipping and return at your own convenience.
The Kohl’s cash will be distributed across all items purchased. So if you order something you don’t need and return it, you will probably end up receiving another certificate of Koh’ls cash for the amount applied to your returned item. If you already know what you want to buy and it’s available online AND you have the Kohl’s app, I would load your preferred items into your online cart, then go to the store and complete your order using the app. Free shipping is automatic when ordering from the app, while at their store.
@gearmom, thought of doing that, have to buy over $50 of NON Kohl’s cash items to get free shipping, then return them. I kind of feel bad of “manipulating” the system
@SnLMom, I have not tried the app., but I may use the kiosk at the store for things I see online and ship for free w/o minimum.

@Hopeful820 I would not feel really bad. The promos are so random from day to day.
I find the Kohl’s app to be far more user friendly than the in store kiosk. Many times the kiosk is down or painfully slow. You can preload your items and promos into the app then complete when you walk in. No minimum purchase necessary.
The worst thing about the app is trying to turn off their annoying notifications.
I can’t believe anyone can stand to shop at that place!
I am not a Kohl’s shopper but did buy something on cyber Monday that never goes on sale because of the high Kohl’s cash that was offered. I’m going to use it on an electric spiralizer for each of my 3 daughters for Hanukah. They will be shipped to 3 different locations (only one d is local). Based on what I’m reading here, items purchased with Kohl’s cash aren’t eligible for free shipping, even if $50 is spent/used? If I load the app and order from the app, will I get free shipping? And do I literally need to be in the store to order from the app? I really hate to pay shipping so (1) I’m trying to figure out if I get around it and (2) if it is correct that I can get free shipping ordering on the app standing in the store (how would they know where I am physically located?!?), maybe I’m willing to pay shipping x 3…
@MomofWildChild, I used to shop “at the store” a lot a few years back, only buying clearance items, got very good deals on clothing for my two kids. Almost everything there is overpriced. Since the store close to me closed down (one with great clearance finds), I don’t shop in the stores anymore.
I only started buying online last year and only over Black Friday weekend, I did find some very good buys this year.
I am not sure how the app works, never used it. Maybe call the store/customer service?
@collage1 I’m not sure with the app but if there is a local kohl’s near each daughter, you could have the items shipped free to the store for pick up. I hate paying shipping too.
@collage1 - I can’t confirm whether or not using the Kohls cash would work against the minimum purchase required for free shipping. Perhaps you could load the items in your cart and apply the Kohls cash, then see if you will be charged for shipping. My understanding is that it is treated as CASH, so … ??
As for free shipping using the app, yes, you must physically be standing in the store (or maybe just out the door?) when completing the order. When installing the app, you are given the option to deny or allow location sharing. In order for them to know you are in the store, you must allow. You will see the free shipping status reflected in your cart. You can always go into the settings and turn sharing off or on as needed.
Another benefit of the app is that it will store all of your coupon codes and Kohls cash in the wallet. When they run their % off coupons, you can usually find a code for 30% online and load it in your wallet to be used in the store.
@collage1 @SnLMom I can confirm that when paying with kohl’s cash, it reduces your total and therefore your ability to reach the free shipping minimum.
I have $60 in kohls cash. I loaded $67 in items into my cart. And it added $8.95 in shipping.
I don’t have a smart phone and have never tried the app. I may try bringing my ipad and ordering from the car right outside the front doors of kohls. I do know their Wi-Fi works from there.
I am pretty sure the kohls cash will be expired before there is another free shipping code.

I loaded the items in my cart and, not only do I not get free shipping but nor can I get a coupon to load so I’m paying more for the items than I would at just about any store (full retail). This will be my one and only time down this path. I get the no free shipping as that’s an expense that Kohl’s actually has to pay but no discount codes? Thumbs down! Will chalk this up to a failed experiment.
@collage1 - Sorry, this process can be frustrating. The coupon codes must be added to your wallet and applied to your cart. Are you saying that the FRIENDS25 coupon code and/or the Kohl’s Cash does not load to your wallet? My app “wallet” always reflects any coupon codes and Kohl’s Cash which have been added through my online account. However, I frequently have to make sure those discounts are applied to my purchase before the final checkout step, as they tend to drop off after each purchase and sometimes even at random times.
One thing to keep in mind is that the Kohl’s Cash is applied to your purchase price first, then the % off is applied to the remaining balance. So I try to avoid using Kohl’s Cash on non-sale items as I don’t feel like I’m getting a good deal. I find it takes a lot of effort to get good deals at Kohl’s and many people don’t think it’s worth the time investment!
Stopped in a new Kohl’s store in the next town yesterday, small, hardly any selection of anything, I picked up a couple of sports bra to use up the $30 Kohl’s cash, put remaining amount on my Kohl’s card. Figure just to get it over with, I can return them any time and get my $30 back in Kohl’s cash and use it another time. Maybe some good sales after the holidays and free shipping.
Had some trouble with the cashier yesterday, handed her the printouts of 2 Kohl’s cash, she proceeded to scan one, and fiddled for a while, then told me one of them had been “used” already! I told her NO, it has not been used yet, then she went to another terminal, checked, still insisted that it had been used, I tried to keep my cool, told her that she kept scanning the same one and FORGOT to scan the second one! She was not happy and tried to argue with me, I firmly told her that she should check the bar code numbers and would see she DID NOT scan the 2nd coupon. I was frustrated.
Part order came in the mail today including 2 fleece jackets, not happy with the packaging, the jackets were SO WRINKLE that stuff at thrift stores look better. They used a flimsy bag, so the 3 items inside probably tumbled like inside a dryer, but at least I can put fabric softener sheet in the dry and take clothes out promptly without wrinkles.
Kohl’s isn’t a fun place to shop any more…
