<p>This is my first topic here on the forums, so please just kindly tell me if I’m doing/posting anything wrong.</p>
<p>Could I get some general feedback on my chances at schools?</p>
<p>General Information:
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Asian (Should I mark off “Asian” or leave it blank; does this matter?)
Location: New Jersey
High School: Public; huge school, about 2,500 students, give or take.</p>
<p>Right now: (Third quarter, junior year)
Unweighted GPA: 3.14 (Hoping to bring to a 3.3-3.4 by senior year)
Weighted GPA: 3.29
SATs: 2020/1370. 570 CR, 650 Writing, 800 Math (Planning on retaking this fall; my English has improved phenomonally since my last testing)
SAT IIs: US History, World History, Mathematics II, Physics (Planning on taking)
APs: Chemistry; European History, Calculus AB; Human Geography, Psychology. Sophomore; junior; senior years.</p>
<p>EC:
Volunteering at local hospital (roughly two hours a week)
Winter and Spring Track & Field (JV)
Various summer programs (JHU’s Center for Talented Youth twice; does this help?)
Part-time job as tutor
Model United Nations
Marching Band
School newspaper staff
(Probably missing a lot)</p>
<p>Other information:
Medically diagnosed ADHD (planning on having counselor and doctor notes with applications)</p>
<p>School plans:
New York University (Early decision, first choice)
Fordham University
Willamette University
Loyola University (Chicago, Illinois)</p>
<p>Prospective majors/minors?
Major: International Relations
Minor: History?</p>
