Hi everyone, I am from Indonesia. I got my undergraduate diploma from Chemical Engineering. I have sent my applications for my master degree at Chemical engineering master program ( concentration in energy storage) at NCSU, Michigan SU, Uo South Carolina, and Uo Houston. Sadly I got rejection letter from NCSU and Uo South Carolina. Any idea of university that still open the admission for fall this year? I have only $ 32,500 a year for tuition fee and living cost. Thanks a alot
Montana State University in Bozeman. They offer a master’s in chemical engineering …don’t know if they have your specialty though
The NACAC list comes out Friday with colleges that miscalculated their yield; financial aid might not be great, though, especially for international students.
Mississippi State University in Starkville Mississippi.
Louisiana Tech University.
The OP is applying for master’s programs, so the NACAC list is probably not what they are looking for.
With that said, OP, you likely don’t want to rush into any old graduate program just for the sake of going somewhere. Why don’t you look for work and try to apply again in a year or two? (Also, what about MSU and University of Houston? Have you not heard from them?)
rejected from houston
It will be hard to find schools which provide financial aid for international Masters students. Since living expenses are probably at least $12,000/year you need to find schools which have tuition lower than your balance. In addition the time is very late this year to gain admission, to get an I-20 and interview for a Visa. You would need to get an acceptance by the end of May.
Do a little research on tuition costs to see if there are any programs that meet your academic and financial needs. If you cannot find something right now, work as @juillet said and save a bit more money so you have more options in a year or two.
