Any hope at all?

<p>Before considering the stats, I do want to mention that my grades were affected by a extenuating circumstance regarding family (Received a D in AP Chem) and guidance counselor mentioned the situation in her letter.</p>

<p>I applied ED2 and Emory is really my dream school, but at this point not feeling to great about my chances...do you guys think there will be any hope for an Accept or Waitlist?</p>

<p>I'd say the numbers are a little light, but the extenuating circumstances may make up for it. </p>

<p>Be sure you have explained things to Admissions.</p>
