i just used DancinDeers again, as they are local to Cambridge. Cheryl’s looks good, but in CA.

S1 doesn’t like the Cheryl cookies, but I ordered a “decadent chocolate cake” (small fudgelike cake) from Harry & David this morning. Sent this a couple of years ago and he loved it.

If you’re a AAA member there’s 25% off (I had an email but probably can get there via AAA’s site) and today is the last day for ‘regular’ shipping to make it by the 14th.

$7 shipping on the $15 special at Cheryl’s. OUCH!! It’s probably still less expensive then sending something yourself.

Mine would be kind of annoyed if I sent them a valentines gift.

Well, it won’t have a fancy box or tin, but with this special, you pay the $6.99 shipping and get six cookies for free from Cheryl’s:

You can send sampler boxes to multiple addresses – I’ve sent them to college students.

OP:

Next year check with your college’s student services. Last year I also sent him Cheryl’s cookie’s, which he appreciated. But this year I ordered something directly from the college to be delivered. Total =$12 Hopefully he’ll like that too!

No insult or such thing intended and this is only MHO… but it bothers me to send college kids - whose diet is often already ‘on the edge’ more sugar. D loves a local massage place we will send her a gift certificate, with possibly a small number of chocolate kisses attached. It’s healthy and much appreciated during midterms/finals.

A love letter from mommy, their favorite candy bar, and a little cash. Always in style.

Just sent my son who’s interviewing for summer internships homemade choc chip cookies, a Valentines scratch-off lottery ticket, and a red-striped designer tie.

Great idea, worrywart

Three friends and I are meeting this morning for a cookie/goodie exchange for our college kids. Two of them are back east so it will include hot chocolate and tea.

Dietz,

S1 is weirdly healthy and nags me about my soda habit when he is home. He likes chocolate but he’ll stretch out the tiny cake for weeks!

I used to send goodies often, but he told me to stop since they were going to waste. Now I only send stuff on the rare occasions like Valentine’s day.

Sent from my SGH-T989 using CC

I just sent this to my son from Wolferman’s [Country Tea Breads Sampler | Bread Assortments | Wolfermans](http://www.wolfermans.com/w/gifts-by-occasion/valentines-day-gifts/2365#Bakery:s=priceAsc:p=1)

Just sent Mrs. Fields cookies from Costco. Seemed like a pretty good price.

[Mrs. Fields® Dancing Heart Tin](http://www.costco.com/Mrs.-Fields®-Dancing-Heart-Tin.product.11524688.html)

I always sent each of my d’s Godiva chocolate.
