Only the best dorm on campus.

For that matter I would like to know if any frosh are coming to South. If you are, I am wondering if you are on second floor connector hall. Half the South frosh live there, and I am also living there, so if you live in South, PM me to see if I will be one of your neighbor upperclassmen.

I’m apparently going to East. Shortly after I found this out, a couple Claremont people invited me on facebook who had their status set to “level 70.” I see where this is going.

lol what did you say that got you placed in east? Also, whats with the UCR—> Mudd? Are you a transfer student?

I dont think its anything I said, just the fact that the record size of the incoming class leaves few spots left over for us transfers. World of Warcraft and dragonslaying were not mentioned. Oh well, at least it wont be a problem finding someone to go to anime conventions with.

I’m in South, tiyusufaly, on the corner of the second floor connector hall that isn’t near to your room (the one closer to North).

Can you explain what “substance free” means at South? I’m not sure that anyone mentioned this before. Whenever people discuss alcohol free parties, for instance, they talk about East.

East isn’t that bad. I’m sure you’ll be fine. I just get the jitters every time I walk into that dorm…

It means that relative to other dorms, particularly North and West, there is less alcohol consumption in South. However, alcohol is not off limits (except during dry week).

That would have to be West.

How will being in East effect my ability to start a social life at Mudd? You guys make it sound like getting out just became 3x harder.

Usually you become closest to people from your own dorm frosh year. I was unfortunately placed in Case last year and it definitely affected my social life at the start of the year. It sucks big time.

My best friends don’t even live at my dorm. I started hanging out with them due to classes and such. It really isn’t that hard once you stop limiting yourself to your immediate surroundings. While you may not know anyone other than those in your dorm for the first few weeks I’m sure you’ll make friends through homework and such.

I wouldn’t worry about it.

“Only the best dorm on campus.” - OP talking about West, right?

Norf’s mom is so fat…
