Any info saved from year to year?

<p>This seems like a silly question, but I’ll ask. I filled out FAFSA last year and am getting started for this year. I know the PIN numbers are used year after year but no info is saved from year to year, right? It would be great to just go in and tweak the numbers, but I assume the info is not saved for security reasons.</p>

<p>Your personal information is saved. When you start the new FAFSA it will let you enter some basic information then will come back and say you have done one before and give you the option of having the form prefilled. As far as I recall it is just personal info, not any financial info.</p>

<p>Thanks. Now I have to remember my PIN - I have it stored someplace so safe I can’t remember where. I remember my D’s but no mine.</p>

<p>You will only need your daughter’s PIN to automatically ‘prefill’ the FAFSA information.</p>
