Any Lenox china experts out there?

My friend recently acquired a Lenox china vase. She mentioned that it has a green mark, so I told her not to sell it at a garage sale. I scoured ebay and google images and other sites, but can’t find this vase. Any suggestions on how to find out if it’s worth anything? Neither of us know anything about antiques. We live in South Jersey.
I would post a photo, but don’t know if I can…

It is about 9 inches high, no gold band, It has a stem of flowers, there are 2 simple 5 petal flowers on a stem of leaves, and on either side of the flower stem the vase is fluted vertically. I assume after the fluting there is another stem of flowers on the other side, but for now I have only seen a photo of one side.

Any ideas?

A quality auction house would be able to tell you. My brother’s in the business, and he uses Skinner’s (just outside Boston). According to their web site, they provide verbal appraisals for free.

Any words on the bottom besides Lenox? Sometimes you will see something like “special” or some other wording.

There are books about Lenox collectibles, some will include recent auction prices. Antiques dealers in china/porcelain may have these. You may also be able to contact Lenox, perhaps send a photo, learn more about the piece and how any bottom marks id and date it.

Perhaps replacements.com has it. On their website you can search for “lenox vase” and browse the photos.

Does it look like any of these?
