Any "non-traditional" full-time undergrads?

Are there any students out there attending school full-time that are over the age of 25?

I know one who is 23 and coming in as a freshman, and another that is a 25 year old sophomore. I myself am a 23 year old sophomore. So there are some, though we are not many.

Do you guys dorm like everybody else or do you usually live alone?

My friend has 5 kids, and he is going to Vanderbilt starting this fall.

I think he is around 35. And no, he is not going to live in the dorms.
=P

I have a friend that is darn near 60, and a junior in the college.

WOW =o

I admire your friend. What/Where does he study?

Klogon: You don’t have to live in a dorm your freshamn year - you can get your own apartment.

I’m not sure if he would want me to tell what he studies, but I can say that hes one of the most motivated students I’ve ever met. He’s met and surpassed his main goal - to graduate summa cum laude (3.8 GPA). He only has a few core college requirements and his senior thesis to finish before graduation.

I am 33, finishing up my Junior year here at Penn. I live in a dorm (graduate housing). I transferred up here last year from Texas.
