Any PPSP applicants accpeted to Case?

I randomly checked online statue today, completely unexpecting that the result comes out this early (I thought the results come out ‘on’ March 1st).

Congratulations! You have been admitted to Case Western Reserve University. Please look for your official letter of admission in the mail.

Anyone else?

yeah same here. I guess were just waiting on the interviews.

Doh, what’s PPSP? [Never mind, Google is my friend … Pre-Professional Scholars Program]

Senluck, thanks for posting that! I checked just now and got the same message!

What programs are you all applying into?

pre-dental here (yea right, like I am getting in there). Somewhat hopeful haha

Wait…inthemoney, how do you know that you have been chosen to interview for PPSP? Does it say somewhere on the status check website? I think that’s only for admittance into Case…

^ I think he/she meant that he/she is waiting for interview to be offered.

Oh, okay. So are we all waiting for the fat envelope to arrive in March?

yeah, that’s what I meant. Does anyone know if notification is at the end, or beginning of march?

According to the letter I received in the mail, notification for all PPSP applicants will come approximately on the week of March 3.

Has anyone gotten an acceptance in the mail yet? with pin # and stuff? because we need that info to fill out the Case Finanical Aid form (even though they don’t really give a deadline for that)

Can’t you use this to get your PIN? (I borrowed it from another thread.)

Got my acceptance online a while ago - just got it in the mail today!

Just two more weeks (Week of March 3rd) till PPSP interview invites to be mailed out! Can’t wait. I’m also applying for the 8 yr dental program :)

yeah i got my mail too. and I got a phone call

jon–good luck with the dental program. (I can say that because i’m applying for medicine)

Hehe… get ready to face nearly 600-700 other applicants Johnc613

To my knowledge, there are about 150 applicants for predental right?

Well if its a 15% acceptance rate, and 10 make it in, then its abut 67 you’re up against. Make it 75-100 just to be sure.

It’s a 15% admission rate for both the 6 year and 8 year dental program. So either way, you have the same amount of competition.
