Any really smart boxers out there?

Are there any smart boxers or “pugilists” out there?

I think some started that way, but after a couple of years…

Is that question general or specific to people on collegeconfidential?

If it’s in general, well… Vitali Klitschko, the WBC (most recognized of the three belts) heavyweight champion has a doctorate in sports medicine and he can speak Ukranian, Russian, German, and English. In my opinion if you can garner those credentials along with being 6’7", you’ve made it in life.

My boxers are quite intelligent

well…I guess there’s Joe Boxer.

OMG ok my favorite book of all time…of anything ever set in ink…ever is about a brilliant boxer! The Power of One, by Bryce Courtenay! It is absolutely amazingly wonderfully brilliant and I recommend that everyone read it immediately!

the sequel, Tandia, is really really good as well.

I was on the Boxing team at Berkeley. I scored 50 points over 1600 on the SAT if converted from 1994 (when I took the test) to 2004 scales.

I fought in the 165 lbs. weight class, and my record was 2-0. My lifetime street fighting record is 6-0 for one on one matchups. I quit the boxing team cus I got a neck spasm, and didn’t want to get dumb before I started my i-banking offer.

I played baseball in high school, shortstop and batted 5th. I wanted to play a completely different sport in college. (when I finally got around to it after all that partying…hehe)
