Hmmm I can’t think of any.

Maybe the fact that the school is not an indicator of real life. life is never that perfect.

A good reason for me to not go to Pomona: not being accepted!

Haha.
I hope that does not become the case.

the only reason that was keeping me from applying to pomona was the fact that they didn’t offer any business majors. But after I decided that I wasn’t even interested in business and that was just my mom speaking (“you have to major in business otherwise you will have no job prospects”), I decided that Pomona was a great college and applied right away. Plus, the viewbook blew me away (as I have not and will not be able to visit campus, it definitely helped me see what Pomona was probably like).

Pomona is (somewhat) for a specific kind of person. If you’d be happier at a large university with lots of huge sporting events all the time, then Pomona isn’t for you. (There are sporting events, but it’s not the same kind of culture as at a huge U.) Also, MOST students live on campus all four years, and the campus is often the center of social life, so if you live in an apartment, you may miss out. If that sound unappealing to you, Pomona may not be for you.

But if the school is a good fit, I can’t think of a good reason not to apply/go.
