Any recent Skype problems?

I know many of you Skype with offspring in far corners of the world. I wondered if any one has been experiencing continued dropped calls and connections where one party cannot hear the other? This has been happening for me for the last several days.

Googling Skype doesn’t bring up any reports of problems (I do know they were out for multiple hours a week or so ago).

I’ve tried using a Dell laptop, Ipad Mini and regular Ipad calling to both a Mac and an Iphone. Doesn’t seem to matter what equipment I’m using. Factime works much better - no dropping - with the same home WIFI.

If any experienced users have suggestions, I’m all ears (or eyes as the case may be). Thanks! I’m Skyping Asia - no monsoons in area if that makes a difference.

Don’t have any recent experience. We skyped weekly when our son was in Denmark. When he returned to the states, I tried to continue but got such bad interference and dropped calls that I stopped trying. My last skype was from Australia about a month ago and it was very clear.

There have been reports of low volume with Skype on Windows 10. Try using the “Launch Skype for Web BETA” at www.skype.com It seems to cure many ailments.
