Are there any scholarships/grants available to first year students for the 2nd semester of freshmen year or later years? This is excluding any financial aid programs. I’m looking for merit-based scholarship programs.

“Currently enrolled students are not eligible for merit scholarship consideration.”

Merit scholarships are ONLY given to incoming freshman.

There are however, other scholarships available such as the Barry M. Goldwater scholarship, probably not to freshmen though. You might need to wait a year or two. Try check on scholarship aggregate websites which compile lists of external scholarships. Fastweb is a decent one.
