Any studies done about long-term changes in scores?

After about a year and a half of not looking at the SAT, and occupying myself with all kinds of college texts (about a dozen books in total, including notes), I found the CR section immensely easier than last time I looked at it.

I’m also looking towards when to take the GRE (which is just incrementally more difficult) so it’s a relevant question.

not that I know of.

But yes you’re right about the CR. my 8th grade CR was a (w/ studying) 620. in 10th on the PSAT (w/ minimal studying) was a 73. But then, I didn’t immerse myself with college texts. I went on with life. I think it’s just more life experience as you go on that helps you; i.e. that’s why the SAT is called a “reasoning test” since your cognitive logic gets better and more mature as you grow older.
