All I know is I really want a cupcake now! I think I’ll go with a square of Ghirardelli 60% cacao dark chocolate from the kitchen cupboard – immediate gratification. :)

Prolific Oven in Palo Alto has delicious cakes (not sure if they have cupcakes specifically) and they deliver, per their website.

In addition to Kara’s, the other big cupcake place in the area is Sprinkles and they deliver although I didn’t see if the fee was posted:

Good luck! You’re a nice mom :)

If the Prolific Oven delivers, you should just go with them and stop looking. Their stuff is soooooo good. Way better than Sprinkles, which is just ordinarily delicious.

Another vote for Prolific Oven…Their cakes are awesome.

Yeah, when I heard bakery I immediately thought Prolific Oven, but I didn’t know they deliver. There is no need to search further.

350 Degrees has very good reviews. Have you asked if they would let you do 6 each instead of a dozen? Maybe they could make an exception. Even if they wouldn’t , I don’t think 12 each would be bad. At least there would be two different flavors.

I sent my son link to Prolific Oven, and he plans to eat there this weekend. They have amazing breakfast pastries as well as desserts.

I knew I could count on CCers. I’ll hear back about PO, I’ll call 350’, and the bundtinins look wonderful. I still have a week.

The bundtinis won, and seemed to be a big hit. My son sent pictures of his team eating them. He and I both appreciate all the advice. The bakery sells a box of 12 in all varieties. He enjoyed lunch at Prolific Oven, and sampled the desserts.

Glad it all worked out!

Thanks collage 1 and all the others offering advice. It was a win/win situation.

We’ve had a few cupcakes make their way into the house here in the past couple of weeks…

You’re welcome :)

just updating. The mini bundts were a big hit.
