I took the PSAT somewhere around October or November and received my scores five days ago. They’re not even close to where I would like to be by the end of my Junior year. I’m currently a sophomore in an international American school. Here are a few things about me and my PSAT Scores:
G.P.A - 3.7
English grade - 92%
Geometry - 99%
Algebra 2 - 92%
^ I take double math.
Math PSAT score - 45 (without calculator)
CR PSAT score - 45
Writing PSAT Score - 49
I will be working on these few preparation books during my summer break and Junior year: Dr. Chung’s, BB, Barron’s, PWN the SAT, How to Write a Killer Essay (Tom Clements), The Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar (Erica Meltzer). Have I chosen the correct books according to my level? And could you suggest how I should prepare using these books? Like how I should start, should I time myself or not, which book to go through first (mainly for math because I have about three), and basically if you could make a timeline for me in a few words of the whole duration of my preparation (I will take the SAT in 12th grade). Thank you so much.
