Any thoughts/ideas?

Hey guys!
I’m a current junior, and starting the daunting process of looking at schools at the moment. I’m feeling really overwhelmed with all of my options, and would love for some ideas to narrow my options a little!
Quickly, about me:
-I have a 3.98 unweighted GPA
-I’m home-schooled, although not taking all of my classes excursively at home, and my transcript is actually going to be more similar to that of a private schooled student.
-I’m a swimmer, and debating the idea of a D3 swim team (Definitely all I’m fast enough for)
-I’ve taken the ACT and SAT once each so far, and will take them both again at least once more this spring, and then again early next fall. I have a 30 ACT, and a 1980 SAT, and I didn’t study at all (I am studying now!)
-My current desire is to either major in Psych or Bio, with plans to be come a MFT, or MD.

I’m really loving the idea of a small LAC, and I do live in the PNW and wouldn’t mind staying in this area. I feel very strongly about the idea of getting a true, well-rounded education, and not just a degree. I also feel really strongly about having professors know my name, and know my work, and be available. I’m not opposed to Cali/the East Coast, though. So far, I’ve visited Sewanee in Tennessee, Whitworth in Washington State, and Trinity Western University in Canada. I’d be open to the idea of a Christian school, and could see myself loving it, but I really couldn’t be somewhere too conservative/legalistic. I could also see myself loving a school like Whitman, or Lewis and Clark. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I forgot to mention: I have fairly great extracurriculars/awards and such.

-Two time captain (Junior, and will be Senior year) of the local public school swim team. We’re a pretty excellent team, and widely regarded as one of the best in the state. (Lots of state titles or placings on both the men’s and women’s sides in the last 15 years.)
-Editor-in-Chief of my private school newspaper.
-I volunteer at a local youth club weekly, as well as spending weeks in the summer organizing and overseeing the photography exhibits at our county fair.
-Multiple photography awards for county high school students
-Private school science fair winner this year
-Club and high school swimmer
-Three-time swim state participant

along with various other awards and recognitions.

Have the money talk with your parents about what they can afford. You can run the SuperMatch engine on the left side of this page for some options.

My father makes too much for me to qualify for need-based financial aid really anywhere, and they’re willing to make up the difference that scholarships and grants won’t cover. Money shouldn’t be a huge issue on their part. They’ve said not to worry about that, but I, for one, would rather not spend a lot and be in debt later.

You should definitely visit Whitman! They’ve had great swim teams in the past several years, as well as having most of the other things you’re looking for.

Occidental sounds like a good fit.

Thanks, guys! bopambo, Whitman is on the short list of schools to visit! Hopefully in the next few weeks, or next fall1
