Any tips for improving CR?

<p>I took SAT once in May this year, I got full mark for Math and relatively acceptable score for writing, but my CR really sucks–500+. (I was too ashamed to reveal the score… )Later I took several diagnostic tests at home n found my CR scores were always about 500~650. That’s quite demoralizing… How did u guys study for CR? Any suggestions? I know should read more… specificly speakinig, what kind of books should I read? I read fictions often… Oh, and which guidebook is more helpful? Many people recommended BARRON’S</p>
