Wait for the first week of school and keep checking the registration page. Some students will switch out of classes for some reason (ie. schedule a better time, take an easier course, etc).

Worst case, take it Winter quarter.

EDIT: I remembered that the advisors sent out this site for people to look at.

yeah. basically nothing you can do except for periodically checking the registration page, especially the first few days (but start now…you never know). Also, if you have no class at that time anyway, I’d recommend just going to the class anyway and talking to the teacher. Worst case you wasted a few hours, but it definitely shows your commitment (if the class is small) and you also won’t be behind if you get in a week after the quarter started.

You can try taking the class at the local community college. I think you can register at the UW and the credit will transfer. Northgate and Seattle Central are convenient and have smaller classes.

Interesting, I’ve never heard of Course Catcher. Everyone seems to use UW Robot (charges money, not worth it), UW Spot Bot (before deprecated), UW Reggie (free), or they write their own script for optimization when checking enrollment summaries (ie. myself).
