Has anyone NOT yet received a letter from Hartt, Wright State, or an admissions decision from Penn State? Thank you

Hi @actsingdanceMT20 , D is still waiting to hear from Hartt. Also, she was artistically rejected from Penn State on the portal and we never heard back about an academic admission. I assumed they were linked like CCM and Michigan.
We were waiting for Hartt as well
@actsingdanceMT20 - Many people haven’t heard from Hartt. It seems like they are sending out notifications in waves. I haven’t seen anyone post about being put on a wait list so perhaps they have people on hold while they wait for responses to come in? Someone also mentioned that the person who is sending those out has been out for a couple weeks and is now back and everything will be out by 4/1. As far as Penn, there are others who have not heard yet as well. Someone mentioned that both the academic and talent (artistic) decision have to be made before the admission decision is posted so it’s possible that either of those have not been finalized yet.
@SongnDanceMom - My S’s Penn State portal specifically says that the major he chose requires both an academic and talent review and that he did not pass the talent review. It goes on to say that there are lots of other majors available and that they hope he’ll still consider attending Penn State but won’t do anything further with his application unless he contacts them. The way it’s worded, it seems like he passed the academic review and if he wants to select a different major he can contact them to change his intended major so that he can get a separate admission decision.
@MTMom98 - Thanks D just told me it was a “No”. In her mind if it is not a BFA acceptance, she is not interested further.
@SongnDanceMom Same here - my S loved a couple schools where he didn’t get into BFA program but was admitted academically but he wouldn’t consider going to any of them as he definitely wants a BFA. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew the admission decision won’t be posted until both academic and talent decisions are made, but the decisions for academic and talent could be different within the same admission decision area on the portal.
My D. just got her no from Wright State on Saturday and her yes from Hartt yesterday, both in the mail. No idea why it’s dragging on like this for some schools, but we’ve learned it’s impossible to infer what the decision is based on how long it’s taking.
@Fotokat finally heard from Wright State this morning. CONGRATS to you and D on Hartt! That must be such wonderful news at a crazy time like this.
