Any Viterbi students here? Do you know what a "Technical Elective" is?

<p>I’m an engineering student. In the Viterbi bulletin, there are some classes called “Technical Elective” on the sample schedules. What is it actually? Is it just like a regular elective class that we can choose outside Viterbi? or do we HAVE to choose it within Viterbi?</p>

<p>I actually want to minor in Music, so I really need more units to complete this minor. If these technical electives can be taken as regular elective classes, then I’d be able to complete my music minor without any trouble. </p>

<p>It’s any class in any engineering department between the numbers 300 and 499. It must be in Viterbi.</p>
