<p>Yes, but my schools nominates the top 5% of the class, but can only send in 6 apps. I didn’t even apply. (45th District)</p>
<p>the students don’t fill anything out do they? how do you know if you were nominated… do they neccesarily have to tell you if they notified you? cause my school is a slacker and doesnt inform a lot of the students about things.</p>
<p>yeah, i guess that at my school (2nd district) the nomination goes out to the top 5% of the class and then only the top 1% (so yeah, like 6 people) get nominated by our principal to have our applications sent to be reviewed by the scholarship committee.</p>
<p>we found out that we are nominated (top 5%) by the lady who works in the career center. she had us fill out applications and we used those same applications for the “final round.”</p>
<p>i’m pretty sure that you can probably apply on your own (you’ll just need your principal’s signature), but i’m not sure where you can get the application. maybe try asking your counselor??</p>
