I know, i know. “Unless you’re in a MLC you’re gunna be stuck on north campus!” But i know a lot of lsa freshman who got dorming at markley and liked it Is there any way to increase one’s chances of getting into markley? Also how does mo-jo compare to markley?
Not all non-MLC freshmen get assigned to North Campus. Just a large number. There are definitely some freshmen who are randomly assigned rooms on central campus including Markley and Mojo. But I don’t know of any way to “increase your chances” of getting that random assignment. I think there is probably a better chance of getting a random assignment to Markley since Mojo has several MLCs that take up rooms. Also Markley is a good deal larger. Maybe because of those two things, the atmosphere in the two dorms is very different. Mojo is quieter and Markley is more social. The rooms and the dining hall in Markley are not as nice as in Mojo. The new Hill dining center is in Mojo along with Victors -a convenience store- which is very … convenient.
Pizza and Sushi are better at Markley though. 
Around 70% of non MLC freshmen would be assigned to NC. That means ~30% in main campus or Hill area.
