<p>Every time I take the ACT, I get distracted during the Reading section and I tend to zone out. Sometimes a song gets stuck in my head, and I read the passage but miss important information. My highest score in reading is 28.</p>
<p>Oh…my… God. I have the same exact problem. The material is so boring and I do get random songs in my head. Likewise, my highest score is a 28.</p>
<p>After taking the SAT 2 times, the ACT reading is a blessing after the SAT critical reading. The SAT critical reading bores!! This is why i find the ACT reading a bit more interesting</p>
<p>I always found this to be one of the challenging sections (which is weird because it’s always my best). It takes a while for my brain to get started on it. You become hyperaware of other things, like the texture of the desk or the color of your pencil lol. The passage about some police officer/detective took a long time to process, ANNNND there was a girl who wouldn’t stop hiccuping for the first 20 minutes.</p>
