She is in the Kalmar area. I have been there twice and could not imagine living there! Its nice to visit.
I have been to Kalmar a few times , but it has been 10 years. It isn’t that far from Karlskrona. I know how you feel…nice place to visit , but I wouldn’t want to live there either. Some things are better IMO than what we have here, but some things can’t compare…beds and bedding , cookware and some conveniences I would n0t like to live without
When I am on the farm, there is a composting toilet! I must say, I missed having heat in the toilet area. It was very cold- in the thirties at night.
I don’t care for their appliances…we stayed at my FIL’s last time we visited. Doing a load of laundry is too involved. Having to hook up the washer to a hose to drain in the bathroom sink is not my cup of tea. Ovens are small. It’s hard to cook multiple things simultaneously.
His shower , however is incredible and he has a sauna with rocks ( we have an infrared sauna ) But the beds , pillows and covers…no thanks. I think Americans are spoiled there, at least we are
