This is how I am currently, I would like some feedback on how my chances of going to UCI is ok…
Thanx a lot.

You seem to be on the right track…Great grades and everything. If UCI’s the only school you’re considering, you should do PAIF and not have to worry about getting in just as you are now. :)

Use Assist.org if you’re having any trouble with selecting your classes (especially for the major requirements).

Yes, I might consider davis.
But my primarily choice is currently UCI.
I just would like to ask you one thing, what is the ideal GPA of getting into UCI?(BTW, my gpa is 3.8, might turn 3.7 or 3.6 after taking more advanced chemistry courses)
Thanks a ton!
ps: the website you showed me, gave me a lot of help!! Thanks one more time.

Really? I might consider UCLA, but I m not sure…
I wish there was a “Decision thread for transfer students”, so that I could get a grip of what kind of range they are wanting in their school.
But the majority of people in here are high school seniors or UCI freshmen, so that sucks =(

If you keep up those grades, UCI should be a match…maybe even more of a safety. But like I said, since you’re going to take certain classes for your GE/major that also fulfil PAIF requirements anyway, you might as well get PAIF certified.

As you can see, your expected GPA far exceeds the minimum requirements to obtain PAIF for your major. I truly support going for PAIF and cannot stress it enough for someone like you. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

And I do think that bel0ved002 is right. Your grades are really good, and I think you would have a fair shot at UCLA if you keep them up. Whether you want to go the extra mile and get TAP certified, among many other things, for UCLA is up to you.

wow… I thought it was just a minimum requirement for application. But you helped me understand what it was all about (I didn’t thoroughly read the entire web page)
A guaranteed admission… wow… you took all that burden off my chest. I can’t thank you enough!
