<p>I’m kind of confused about the weekly response papers. Do we write one every week or is it only for ethnographic readings? Do we have to write one for the reading we got assigned last week in lecture? Thank you!</p>
<p>at the bottom of the syllabus, it says:
*The ethnographic reading assignments for this course include all of the required full-length books. Adapt the questions to the books by Mauss and Hartigan which synthesize ethnographic material from a variety of contexts. When a full-length book is assigned over a two week period, complete a separate and different response for each week by focusing on different questions.</p>
<p>In addition to the full-length books, turn in a response to the following assigned readings</p>
<p>Laura Bohannan. Shakespeare in the Bush.
</p>
<p>So I suppose that means there’s some writing for each week.</p>
<p>When’s the first one (for the Bohannan) due? I’m guessing section?</p>
