<p>Current College List (I’m a senior): University of Virginia (EA), Pomona, Dartmouth, Vanderbilt, Colby, Colorado College, Cornell University ILR, Colgate, Emory, Hartwick, and American</p>

<p>Planned Major: Political Science, Public Policy Analysis, or Sociology</p>

<p>School: Competitive public school in Maine. Roughly 800 students total. </p>

<p>SAT: 2230 super scored (780 CR, 710 M, 740 W)</p>

<p>Subject Tests: 740 US History, 730 Literature</p>

<p>GPA: 98.7/100 weighted (our GPA system calculates the average of each semester grade with a 4% boost for honors and AP courses). </p>

<p>Rank: Top 10%/197</p>

<p>AP Classes: US Gov (5), Comp Gov (5), Lit (4), US History (5), plus Lang and Comp, Spanish, European History, Calc AB, and Stats this year. </p>

  • Debate Team (Captain grades 11 and 12, Good amount of honors/competitive success and Academic All-American)
  • Ice Hockey (JV 9-11, Hopefully varsity 12, our school’s program is really good)

<p>I was very satisfied with my Common App essay. My recommendations are coming from my Comp and US gov teacher, and my Spanish teacher from the last two years. I have good relationships with both teachers. </p>

<p>I can’t speak on some of these colleges but I can say that you are a good match for Emory RD/ Vandy based on your academic rigor and test scores (I’m assuming that GPA is good too cause I don’t know what that equates to exactly haha).</p>
