From the opening, you might think Baltimore now seems to have mountains ! I never saw it on Broadway or on tour. It’s okay so far but not knocking my socks off. Waiting for the big moments!

Would be more invested without all the social media add ons. Don’t need a blow by blow recap of each scene, don’t care about fans in different cities.
And so many commercials! I watched Sound of Music live, it seemed to have fewer commercials? Is it just a need for time to switch scenes in Hairspray?
I’m guessing the commercials are placed to accommodate scene and wardrobe changes. We’re taping it for D, but I will watch so that I can hear Jennifer Hudson sing. I don’t care about the play itself, I just want to hear her voice.
I am a fan of Kristin Chenoweth. That is main reason I am watching.
